Traditionally, funders have preferred programme funding, channeling resources directly to service users and the programmes that support them. However, as needs become more complex and demand for social services grows in scale, it is no longer sufficient to focus only on meeting immediate needs on the ground.



With limited resources, we have to increase the sustainability and impact of donations through strengthening our social service agencies (SSAs).

This is what the Community Capability Trust aims to catalyse – to ensure SSAs have strong organisational and manpower competencies to enhance productivity and service delivery.
 
Stronger SSAs will in turn, be able to support more service users with better services, thus multiplying the impact of the original donation.
